What is Temporary Startup and Subscription Startup?

You can use Temporary Startup or Subscription Startup to start and use your DuoPlus Cloud Phone.

1. What Is Temporary Startup?

Temporary Startup is charged based on the startup duration of your Cloud Phone. When you start a Cloud Phone, the system will automatically use available resources in the following priority:

If free Temporary Startup time is available, it will be consumed first. After the free time is used up, your purchased Temporary Startup Plan will be consumed. If neither free time nor a Temporary Startup Plan is available or sufficient, Temporary Startup fees will be deducted from your DuoPlus Account Balance.

Temporary Startup Plan billing: consumption starts after the Cloud Phone is successfully started and stops when the Cloud Phone is powered off.

• Capped at 200 minutes/day/device

DuoPlus Account Balance billing: billing starts after the Cloud Phone is successfully started and stops when the Cloud Phone is powered off. Repeated startups within the same 10-minute billing cycle will not be charged repeatedly.

• $0.06/10 minutes/device
• $1.20/day/device cap

Usage is calculated by natural day in UTC+8. The usage counter resets at 00:00 (UTC+8) every day.

New users will receive free Temporary Startup time when purchasing a Cloud Phone for the first time. The exact amount of free time is subject to the purchase page.

2. What Is Subscription Startup?

Subscription Startup is a long-term startup service. After purchase, you can start your Cloud Phone unlimited times within the validity period without additional startup fees.

Multiple Cloud Phones can take turns using the same Subscription Startup Service to save costs. However, one Subscription Startup Service can only be used by one Cloud Phone at the same time.

For example, if you have 2 Cloud Phones and 1 Subscription Startup Service, and Cloud Phone A is already running, you have the following options when starting Cloud Phone B:

1. Use Temporary Startup: 0.06/10 minutes**, capped at **1.20/day.
2. Power off Cloud Phone A, then start Cloud Phone B. No additional fee will be charged, as the two Cloud Phones take turns using the same Subscription Startup Service.
3. Purchase another Subscription Startup Service, so both Cloud Phones can run at the same time.

3. How Subscription Startup Helps Reduce Costs

Assume you have 100 Cloud Phones and only need to run up to 5 Cloud Phones at the same time. You can purchase 5 Subscription Startup Services, reducing the monthly cost to as low as $1.595/month/device:

4. How Temporary Startup Fees Are Deducted from Account Balance

Temporary Startup fees charged through account balance will be deducted from your DuoPlus Account Balance.

If your account balance is insufficient, Temporary Startup cannot be used.

You can view your balance or recharge your account in the Cost Center.

5. How to Purchase a Temporary Startup Plan

A Temporary Startup Plan can only be purchased after you have purchased a Cloud Phone.

You can go to the purchase page from the DuoPlus dashboard by clicking Purchase in the upper-right corner, then selecting Purchase Temporary Startup Plan.

6. How to Purchase Subscription Startup

Subscription Startup can only be purchased after you have purchased a Cloud Phone.

You can go to the purchase page from the DuoPlus dashboard by clicking Purchase in the upper-right corner, then selecting Purchase Subscription Startup.
