What is the difference between temporary and fixed computing power?

1. What is Computing Power

Computing power refers to the CPU and memory resources consumed when a cloud phone is powered on. It is occupied each time the phone is turned on and reclaimed upon shutdown.

Each time you activate a cloud phone, you need to use either temporary or fixed computing power to start it.

1.1 What is Temporary Computing Power

Temporary computing power is rented on a temporary basis and is charged based on the duration your phone is on. The cost is deducted from your account balance at the time of powering on, so please ensure your account has sufficient funds to cover the startup costs.

Billing method: Billing starts upon completion of startup and stops when the phone is shut down. If you restart within a 30-minute billing cycle, you will not be charged again.

Statistics are based on the natural day of the Eastern Eighth District, that is, the Eastern eighth District is re-counted at 0 o 'clock every day

When purchasing a monthly subscription or higher for the cloud phone, each cloud phone will receive 30 minutes of temporary computing power usage time every month!

When you purchase or renew a cloud phone, you will receive temporary computing power usage time. The exact duration granted will be based on the purchase page.

1.2 What is Fixed Computing Power

Fixed computing power is equivalent to opening multiple numbers simultaneously, because computing power (CPU and memory resources) can only be used by one cloud phone at a time.

Fixed computing power is rented on a long-term basis. Using the fixed computing power you have purchased to start your phone will not incur additional startup costs.

Multiple cloud phones can use the same fixed computing power to start up, saving costs, but at any given time, only one cloud phone can use it.

If you have 2 cloud phones and 1 unit of fixed computing power, and you want to start the second phone while the first one is already on, you have three options:

1. Use temporary computing power to start up, at $0.15 per 30 minutes, capped at $0.9 per day;
2. Turn off the first cloud phone and then start the second one. This will not incur additional costs as the two phones take turns using the fixed computing power;
3. Purchase another unit of fixed computing power, allowing both phones to be on simultaneously, each using the fixed computing power.

2. How Fixed Computing Power Can Save You Money

Suppose you have 100 cloud phones and only need to have 5 phones on at the same time, you can purchase 5 units of fixed computing power. Your monthly cost per device can be as low as $1.995 per month per device:

3. How are Costs Deducted for Temporary Computing Power?

The startup cost using temporary computing power is deducted from your account balance, so you cannot use temporary computing power to start your phone if your account balance is insufficient.

4. How to Purchase Fixed Computing Power

You can only purchase fixed computing power after buying a cloud phone. You can buy fixed computing power through the two access points shown in the following images.
